I feel like I’ve said it almost too frequently, but time has flown by. Tomorrow morning I’ll pack a few last-minute things into my car and make the 13-hour drive to Georgia. I’m staying in Atlanta for a few days, and then on Friday I’ll go to Gainesville where I’ll be until March. It’s finally happening.
During my time at CGA, I’ll be living at “The Farm” (no idea if it ever was an actual farm) with six other women: fellow CGA apprentices Jamie, Allyson, Rebekah, Kendall, and Desiree, along with our house mentor Carson. I also have to find a part-time job in Gainesville. I have a few interviews lined up, so I’m hoping to have something concrete within the first two weeks if not sooner.
I’ve been asked many times how I feel about going to CGA, and I’ve finally figured out that my answer is excited and intimidated at the same time. On one level, I have no idea what I’m getting myself into. But on another, I have a feeling that CGA is going to help me zero in on what I want to do with the rest of my life, whether that’s moving overseas as a missionary, pursuing ministry here in the US, or anything else in between.
The adventure begins tomorrow – subscribe to my blog for updates, and the next time you hear from me, I’ll be in Gainesville!
Fundraising update: I need $2100 to be fully funded for the semester. To make a tax-deductible donation, click the “donate” button on the left.
